These Terms of Use govern your use of Tutor on Wheels, operated by Tutor on Wheels ("TOW", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, booking a session, or using the platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Notice, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Child Safety Rules.
1. Platform Role
Tutor on Wheels provides tutor discovery, matching, booking, payment administration, support, records, and quality-assurance services. Tutors provide educational services as independent contractors unless a specific written arrangement states otherwise.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly update changes. A parent or legal guardian must create or supervise accounts involving minors. We may request verification and may suspend accounts for fraud, safety risk, misuse, or policy violations.
3. Bookings and Payments
- Displayed availability is not guaranteed until payment and tutor acceptance are confirmed.
- Users must pay through approved TOW channels. Payment directly to a tutor is not recognized as payment to TOW.
- Prices, inclusions, travel fees, discounts, refund terms, and applicable charges will be shown before confirmation or stated in the invoice.
- Sessions are paid; there are no free trials. Rates vary by level, mode, and tutor.

4. Acceptable Use
You must not scrape profiles, copy databases, impersonate others, introduce malware, harass users, misuse child data, bypass payments, solicit off-platform arrangements, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
5. Reviews and Content
Reviews must be truthful, relevant, and respectful. We may remove content that exposes personal data, contains threats, discrimination, obscenity, fraud, unrelated promotions, or unverifiable serious allegations while preserving lawful complaint channels.
6. Intellectual Property
TOW branding, website design, databases, forms, and original platform content are protected. Tutors and users retain rights in their own lawful content but grant TOW permission to host, display, and process submitted content for platform operation.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
TOW uses reasonable care but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific tutor, academic results, or the absence of all risks. We are not responsible for the conduct or performance of independent tutors. Liability limitations cannot exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and Contact
Material changes will be posted or communicated. You may contact us via the contact page for support, complaints, and legal notices. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
